# Documentation MCP

> Use Mintlify's MCP to search Actual's public developer documentation.

The hosted Mintlify site provides a documentation MCP at:

It can search and retrieve public documentation and may submit documentation feedback through Mintlify. It cannot:

* create, read, revise, approve, cancel, or recover an Actual Job;
* access Account or product data;
* execute Provider actions or spend money;
* receive product API credentials; or
* act as a proxy for `mcp.askactual.com/mcp`.

  Do not include secrets, private product data, Job details, or Evidence in documentation searches
  or feedback.

To perform product actions in the future, use the separately authenticated [product MCP](/mcp/product), not this endpoint.
