The Actual-owned product MCP will adapt selected product operations for MCP Hosts such as ChatGPT and Claude. Planned actions include creating and reading Jobs, revising Constraints, deciding an Approval, cancelling where permitted, and reporting a problem. Product actions use the same application commands, Account authorization, idempotency, authority checks, and durable records as the HTTP API. The MCP adapter does not own Job state. An MCP Task can project a long-running Actual Job to a compatible Host; it is not the Job. Every Host receives a plain Job ID and status fallback independent of MCP App or Task support. OAuth connection consent identifies a connection. It does not authorize every Account object, approve spending, or allow an Agent to approve its own proposal.
Connection instructions, discovery metadata, tool schemas, and Host compatibility will be published after conformance testing.
